Dikricher Photo-Club a.s.b.l. 
The DPC was founded in 1949 and numbers about 125 members; approximately 20 of those are active photographers. All you have to do to become a member of our club is to be very interested in photography. There is no requirement regarding your photographic material.
The statutes of our association determine two main objectives:
- the initiation of our members into the art of photography
- the documentation of the local history of the town of Diekirch
Concerning the art of photography
We meet on Mondays at 19.30 (from October until May) in our "Studio" (rue Jean-l'Aveugle) where we offer very varied activities
- discussion and evaluation of photographs/slides
- preparation for contests which we take part at in common
- courses in our studio or in our darkroom
- workshops during the evenings
- slide shows and travel photo-reportage
- preparation of collective exhibitions

Note : You can come to or leave our meetings whenever you want except when you commit yourself taking part in a specific project

There is one restriction: You must be an active member and have taken part in a beginner's photo course to be allowed to use our studio or our darkroom
Concerning the documentation
- We have recorded the most important events in Diekirch for more than 30 years
- We work hand in hand with the " Tourist Office " and with the " Sports Commission "of the city of Diekirch www.diekirch.lu
... and for the good harmony between our members
- we sometimes meet between friends in the evening
- 1 or 2 times a year we start an excursion or a photographic outing closing with a good meal

Every second month all our members get our „Courrier" free of charge which contains the latest news concerning our club, the "Fédération Luxembourgeoise des Photographes Amateurs" (FLPA) and the « Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique" (FIAP) http://www.fiap.net
